The Faculty of Health and Human Science's (FHHS) origin lies in the establishment of the Wolfson School of Health Sciences within Thames Valley University (TVU) in 1994. This involved bringing together several nursing and midwifery schools, including Queen Charlotte's College of Health Studies. In 1995, the School merged with Berkshire College to become the Wolfson Institute.
